Godfrey Lake...

Saturday was gorgeous here at the Jersey Shore.
I couldn't get ready fast enough for our day out and about.
Today...was going to be an outside day for sure
and I had a lot of "fun stuff"
I wanted to do!!

First stop, Godfrey Lake, less then five minutes from home.
We pass this lake everyday and there have been two
Mute Swans here all winter.

Today, was the perfect day for those beauties to have their picture taken.

I took my usual 150 pictures but lucky for you,
I will share just a few!
Is eight a few?? I guess when compared to 150, it is!

They were not shy and seemed to enjoy their photo session.
More fun stuff tomorrow!!

Straight into the camera....no way! I've never seen a swan pic like that! Actually, birds LOOK at you way more than any other photographer I'm aware of! I also love the one with the really bendy neck! Getting so close up its cool to see how the water beads up on their feathers... so much to love here!!
