The New Kids On The Block, Part 1

I don't usually see Carolina Wrens in my yard.

If you have never seen one, they are small, with a short tail.
They have a beautiful, warm brown color
and a prominet white eyebrow!

This guy has been hanging around and sings for food!
My kinda guy!

Word's getting out on the bird grape vine that your place is the happiest place in Jersey for a bird to set a spell!!

Yes, we have them, but now that you mention it, I haven't seen one in quite a while. I'm thinking the kitties outside have a lot to do with the decline in our bird appearances. :) Beautiful shots!

Really sweet shots of them, Debbie.

I have them. So far they have made three nests. They sing to us all the time. My boys love them. They don't seem to fit in with the rest of the yard birds, but they love us.

Awesome photographs of your tiny new visitor, Debbie! I know Carolina Wrens can be seen in our area, but only rarely do I have a sighting. This sweet post brought a big smile to my face.

And they have quite a loud song for such a tiny bird! There's a resident Carolina Wren in my backyard that just loves to taunt my cats through the window.

They are one of my residents I can count on appearing. I love to hear them singing in the morning. Enjoy!

What a cutie! They are pretty skittish around here so we don't usually get them so close.
