Misty in Mystic

Road trip, day two!
After our first and quite amazing day in Branford Connecticut,
we had a great morning in Mystic.

Here's the hubs and I, at the shops at Mystic.

This was lunch...
Lobster Bisque, Shrimp & Corn Chowder and
Shrimp in the Rough
They had pink lemonade that was oh so sweet!

And a warm Lobster Roll, Coleslaw and Corn on the Cob,
um, that sounds a bit like dinner!!

Here's the view...it was a little cool and misty in Mystic,
the high was 73 degrees...that was perfect for me!

Now if your wondering where this little hot spot is,

it's in Noank, Connecticut.

If you want to go there, you'll have to ask the locals.
You will never find it on your own!!

Ok, the shrimp and lobster wouldn't have lasted long. I love me some seafood! Great view with the boat anchored in the bay! That temperature is exactly how I like it, too.

What a cool thing to have a sign like that at a great photo spot! Looks like another fun day - though I would need something other than seafood...

I love going to places where the locals go, too. I think you can get a better feel for a place doing that. Love the photos of you and hubs smiling! And that food--yummy looking! It's after midnight, and suddenly, I'm hungry again. :-)
