There's A Storm A Brewing...

I think we are expecting some bad weather here at the Jersey Shore.
Perhaps a storm named "Sandy".

Chuck and I are preparing, the way that we always do...

We went for a ride on these,

We checked up on the beach...the calm before the storm.

The seagulls were happy, keeping a watch full eye over things.

And our dinner at Moonstruck in Asbury Park was outstanding!!

I'm not going to mention the $ 36.00 ticket
we got for not feeding the meter.

Nope, not going to mention that!!

Oh that is too bad. 36 dollars? That seems a bit high. I do hope the weather man is wrong. I keep watching the path of Sandy. All my my friends in the blog world are in the path. :( Keep safe.

Beautiful photos Debbie, a wonderful tradition to have. I can't imagine any fine in our country being so small, consider it a lifetime contribution.

Debbie, I hope you stay safe from the storm. They are making a big deal about "Sandy". $36 for a parking ticket does seem high. Loved the photos, especially the beach shot. Have a great weekend!

That stinks. Other than that your outing sounds wonderful Oh, did you hear that your area is in for a little wind and rain. As we say in northern Wis.....fire up the generator!!! Stay safe.

Glad you enjoyed some time out before the arrival of Sandy! Hope you get through the storm with no issues and any damage is minimal. This is one time it would be nice if the forecasters were wrong, huh?

Praying for you all. That you will be all safe. Watching on t.v and then our weather lady said more then likely Canada will get a taste of it. Years ago we had it and we had 100 year old trees down and no water, no electricity.
A total clean up for weeks with neighbours. In the end we got to meet alott of nice people. Out of bad came good.New friendships.

Wow love those bikes.

Love the place you ate at. Posh!

Oh what a shocker for the last you mentioned.Shhhhhhhhh. Someone may hear us.

That sort of makes a very expensive outing. Ouch!

Lovely photo's and thoughts. Do stay safe and you will be in our prayers. The storm sounds scary. You did capture some great pictures and the dinner sounded fun. I hate getting those kinds of tickets.
Blessings and be safe~

I much prefer your way to prepare for this storm, Debbie. Grenville did make sure to take down our garden flags and flagpoles and to pile together the patio furniture in preparation. I just returned from a week long stay in Plainfield, Nj at my mom's and it was certainly a calm and warm week before the storm. Hope we all will be safe.
