Wicked...On The Beach

 Down at the shore, many of the towns feature "Movies on the Beach" during the summer.

The company that puts on the shows, has a huge blow up screen and projector,

and generally shows some of the old, classic movies.

It doesn't really matter what's playing, it's so fun to sit on the beach at night and watch a flick.

We bring our own chairs and snacks, the hubs popped a bag of popcorn before we left,

and we eat more finger food during the movie here, then we ever would at home.

There may have been some boardwalk ice cream too!

We watched Wicked

I had never seen Wicked and I did not know much about the movie.

I picked up all of the references to The Wizard of Oz...

I did not know it was a musical and it will not go down in time as one of my favorites.

So many of the scenes were very dark, not colorful...and I thought the movie was a little intense.

I enjoyed watchin Glinda and Elphaba, the main characters, 

developed such a close friendship even though they were so different.
