Driving around the shore area can be a real "trip" sometimes...the things I see...
One can not "unsee" this truck and it was begging to have it's picture taken.
I had no idea what "The Night They Raided Minsky's" was or meant,
it is an interesting story, one I had to do a little research on.
The Night They Raided Minsky's
The Night They Raided Minsky's is a 1968 movie about a young, naive Amish woman
who runs away from her home in Pennsylvania to New York City,
where she hopes to act in religious stage plays but ends up performing in Burlesque theatre.
Not really what I expected, but still I loved this truck.
Such a beautiful Ford...
with an appealing shine, paint job, not a scratch on it.
The hubs took these pictures, if you look closely, you can see him!
Point Pleasant, where I saw this vehicle is a tourist destination during the summer.
The mile long boardwalk along the Atlantic Ocean
Jenkinsons
has thrilling rides, eateries, a waterpark, miniature golf, outdoor movies on the beach,
outdoor concerts, an aquarium and so much more.

Love the truck and murals. The carousel is lovely. Great photos.
Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
That truck is a beauty. The hood is longer than current trucks. Love the colour.
I saw that movie with a high school boyfriend in the balcony of our now-torn-down movie theatre. It was so beautiful (the theatre, not the movie. I don't remember much about the movie!)
I love that truck! I was not familiar with that movie either. What a fun place to go visit.
Looks like a good time.

Many thanks for the photographs.
I always enjoy playing mini-golf or adventure golf.
Wishing you a happy August.
All the best Jan
That truck is amazing; it has a real classic look. It's funny how you see something and then end up learning a whole new story, like with that movie title.
Debbie, as I've said before, you live in an amazing area...
