Saturday Critters #605

Friday, it was really beautiful here at the shore, we took a drive, visiting all our favorite lakes.
It was the day of the Egrets, we saw so many...

This one was a favorite...there were 4 Dragon Flies swirling around the Egret.

- fishing -

- the fishing paid off...and my patience did also -

- oh my, what big feet you have -

- such a pretty reflection -

- this Egret had had enough of us -

- more successful fishing -

- I was surprised to see so many -

We saw one Heron, on an island, we see it everytime we visit this lake,
and it is always standing in the exact same spot.

Hello Debbie,
I would think it is a good sign you are seeing so many Egrets. Their population is doing well. Your photos are awesome, I love the first shot with the dragonflies and the shots with the fish are fabulous. Well done, they are beautiful birds! Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your critter post! Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Such gorgeous birds. They sometimes stray here but I’ve never seen any.

Hi Debbie :)
Fantastic photos of the Egrets and Heron These sharp images show every detail like the little splashes of water. Nice that you got a photo of the fish and even dragonflies. Super post Debbie.
