On Saturday, we went to see our local theaters presentation of
The Wizard of Oz. and it was amazing!
The Algonquin Arts Theater is located about 10 minutes from home in Manasquan, New Jersey.
The production itself, the costumes, props and set were so authentic,
it really felt like you part of the show, right there with them.
They had this rainbow blow-up in the lobby to take pictures.
We went to the 2pm matinee,
no pictures were allowed during the show but I did snap a few during the curtain call.
All of the actors were so talented in both singing and dance,
we are so lucky to live so close to such an amazing live theater.
We have seen a lot of shows here, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Elf, just to name a few.
We always get tickets for whatever show they have for Christmas.
We went to a new restaurant afterward for dinner, located right in Manasquan...
The hubs had Chicken Francese and I had Pasta Carbonara

Hello Debbie :)
The show looks amazing and a lot of time and effort had gone into making the costumes look so authentic. I would have loved to have seen this fine production.
The food looks good too, and you two look such a happy couple. Lovely photos Debbie.
This looks like a great time full of fun. Have a beautiful day.
