New York Sheep & Wool Festival 2018

We've talked a lot about the Sheep and Wool Festival itself, here and here.
But what about the stars of the show,
The Sheep

Andee and I spent some special alone time in this area, the sheep were adorable,
and one was pretty loud!

I am not a vegetarian, and at at my stage in life I am probably never going to become one, but we do have vegetarian days a couple of times a week and we have drastically cut back on the amount of meat we eat. When I see these sheep it makes me guilty when I eat lamb chops.

They all look so thick and dirty, hard to imagine beautiful yarn :)

Yes, the one with the mop; looks like me when it's time for a haircut.

Glad you had a good time, Debbie.

I never knew how many different kinds there were until we saw them at our State fair one year, I love the ones with the hair so shaggy they go over their eyes, although I can't imagine that is fun for them.

I do love all the photos of the sheep. I have a special kinship with sheep since I had an Uncle i was close to that raised sheep. I have been around them.
They are an interesting animal and shearing time was quite the adventure. Thanks for posting this one; it brought back a few memories.
Blessings and hugs!
