Longwood Gardens
The hubs assisted in the taking of the pictures...
sorting through the 225 pictures we took was a daunting task.
This garden area is called the Meadow Garden.
A patchwork of color spread across the landscaped gardens,
reminds you that Spring has arrived...finally!

The next three pictures are images of the three Tree Houses of Longwood.
Everything about Longwood Gardens will awaken your senses with the vibrant colors,
fresh fragrances, and natural sounds of the season.
In addition to the floral gardens, there are many natural areas and wooded paths to explore.
I loved this purple garden, how did they know I was coming?

The tree house, with an area left natural, is very appealing.
Fantastic! Really must get out there one of these days. Always enjoy seeing you and hubs too :)
The tulips are spring to me. Such a riot of colour!
So much beauty, it's actually mesmerizing! So glad y'all were able to enjoy Longwood and share with us. You two are adorable. :)

Oh my....so pretty. Could you purchase some of the tulips? Those are very pretty. Great pic of you and your hubby.
The fountains were amazing and of course the flowers but the tree houses were the best:) Glad out of the 225 you picked the one of the two of you and yes, purple is your color.
It is a stunning garden Debbie -- and Spring is the perfect season (of course, as you know, I am a little Spring-deprived down here in the land of constant summer, which makes me love these amazing tulips even more. Just beautiful -- I loved this whole tour -- thank you!!!
Oh, this place is beautiful and I'm sure much more so in real life. Thank you for sharing. I've never been to a garden like this . . . must add it to my bucket list :)
Wishing you both a very sweet day.
Connie :)

Beautiful photos! The one of you and your husband is wonderful!
Why, 'they' know you, lovely Debbie, whose favourite colour just happens to be purple, was coming for a visit. =) Oh to wander around those meadows of rainbow-filled flowers. How quirky and cool is that tree house! Gorgeous, gorgeous photos, Debbie.....I can imagine it would have been an impossible task to pick just a few of your photos to publish. I would think all 225 were amazing!!
I've always wanted a tree house and this beautiful place would be a nice backdrop!
Gorgeous beauty.I can hear my camera groaning if I were to go there. So many photo opportunities.
Goodness gracious, I could spend hours in that place making pictures!! What a gorgeous place and it looks so peaceful too. You're lucky to live so close to it. I am LOVING THE ITALIAN WATER GARDENS!I--don't remember you posting those before or maybe I just missed it? I love fountains and i think that is so pretty.
Oh my goodness! That is so gorgeous! I'm writing about our European trip right now. We did end up at Keukenhof on the last day, but it was still too early for most of the tulips. Still.... it was amazing! Wouldn't you know it was a late spring in Europe too.
By the way, your inspiration quote is absolutely perfect! I need to write it down for my granddaughter.
Wonderful photos :)
How nice to be among flowers...!
I did like the inspirational words in your Sunday post.
These photographs are so wonderful Debbie, it's a place I would love to visit but know I will not ...
I can however enjoy seeing the beauty through your photographs, thank you.
All the best Jan
Pretty fields of flowers and the tree houses are good too.

I am fascinated with all those tree houses! Not that the tulips aren't incredible, but oh my those tree houses are really and truly something. I could imagine having on out in the woods somewhere to just get-away-to!
