Finishing the Hill...

We live on 1 acre of property, 40 feet up, on a river.
The hill part of our property was never finished with grass until now.
Part one of that story can be found here,
today we are going to finish up the hill and the story.

This happened first, 8 a.m. sharp, all of that sod was for us.

Cool job,

all of the sod was unloaded onto the driveway.

I was fascinated with the sod, so perfectly cut and rolled, there sure was a lot of it!!

There were about 8 men in total,

it was a lot of work to get it off the driveway, down the hill and placed.

Here it is all done and it looks beautiful!
The hubs worked the entire day with the men supervising,
he said there were 2 Egrets hanging around all day, at the base of the river...

Waiting for me to arrive I'm sure

Its just beautiful Debbie!! All of that sod. I am so glad you didn't have to do it. I have laid sod so many times and it is just plain old hard work. I can't imagine going up and down that hill with it. I think you are going to really enjoy that green grassy hill. It is just beautiful.

Wow, that is a lot of grass to lay. It does look beautiful. I loved how you showed the photos of brining the grass in and I am sure you will enjoy this new grass a lot. I can just see kids rolling down the hill.
Blessings and hugs~
