Italian Bread Pizza

A few weeks ago I made a very simple and quite delicious
Italian Bread Pizza

It was born from ingredients I already had on hand,
in the frig, that needed using up.
The bread I bought fresh.
I had cooked some italian sausage for a pasta dish,
and had a bit left over.
I also has red pasta sauce in the frig,
fresh basil in the garden and plenty of fresh mozzarella on hand.

The usual suspects were layered in the appropriate order,

placed onto a cookie sheet,
into a 400 degree oven they went, it took about 20 minutes or less,

for those babies to look like this...
YuM!!

Now most peeps would serve this yummy pizza with a salad,
but I was so afraid that I would not have enough
belly space to fit the pizza.
So we skipped the healthy companion and filled up on this!!

So simple, so delicious!!
