It's sitting in a lovely setting among those trees.
I'm guessing the working part is probably the clearing of land and hay. The feeder for livestock at the side looks like it's been there awhile.

I like the barn picture; and it is one that is similar to many barns that I see. It needs some tender loving care; but it works for them and it perhaps makes it more charming.

The roof is slightly concave - the wood has settled, and the roof has settled right down into it. Beautiful, strong ol' gal!
