Confections of a Rock Star

Where do I start??
I love cupcakes, I am a bit of a cupcake connoisseur.
I bake them, I fill them, I frost them, I decorate them.
But my favorite part is eating them. I consider my palate to be golden.
You all know how much I love Asbury Park,
Asbury Rocks!!

Well there's a new little bake shop in town and it rocks as well.
Confections of a Rock Star

Kimmee, pictured here with none other then me,
is the owner/baker/rock star drummer.
Talk about a lot of hats.

Kimmee's drums help set the stage for the decor in this awesome bake shop.

Focusing primarily on cupcakes, these cupcakes are the best I have ever eaten.
Pink CD's in front of the trays display names from her "set list"
Red Carpet, Starving Artist, Road Trip,
Greetings From Asbury Park,
Strawberry Fields & 10th Avenue Freeze Out
just to name a few!!

Kimmee was featured on 3 Days to Open with Bobby Flay

Kimmee RoCkS, her cupcakes rOcK and I wish her the best of luck!

Oh Kimmee does rock. I truly am a little upset over this post as I have decided to try and cut out sugar for a least a week to see if it helps my Fibro. You have made this very hard as I am truly drooling. HUgs B

mmm I love cupcakes too. If you're ever up in my neck of the woods, check out the Swiss Chalet Bakery in Morristown. They were on cupcake wars... didn't win, but their cupcakes are fab.

Cool place! And great post! She seems to have such a can do attitude - combining things she loves (even if she hasn't totally "made it" as a rock star!!) oh, and YUMMY!!

This is such a neat post, Debbie -- I think I may have seen Kimmee on TV. I feel like I know someone famous now -- you! Lol. I'm not much of a cupcake eater, but I'd make an exception if I were to ever visit this place. :)

oh how fun Debbie! it reminds me of a gathering with some or our musician friends this summer in the Philly suburbs (where I grew up)...my husband and I found a little cupcakery near my parents house where we were staying and brought them to share with our old pals...my favorite was almond with almond creme fresh on top...YUM!

The cupcakes look so good and I too can't pass up a cupcake. I guess I could say I can't pass up anything chocolate for sure.
I liked the title of the shop.
Blessings!
