Time has gotten away from me, and I just realized that I never shared my...
Spring and Summer Bucket List
These flowers are from scattered gardens around the yard.
We have already crossed eight things off the list...crossing things off is so satisfying.
These 2 Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees belong to the couple that live next door to us.
They are always beautiful this time of year, next are the tulips the hubs planted last fall.
He planted a total of 300 bulbs in the front yard around the mailbox, the birdhouse
and in the front center garden.
The deer found and enjoyed all of the flowers in the center garden and around the birdhouse.
The hubs sprayed a deer deterrent around the tulips by the mailbox which saved them.
I love the colors he choose this year...he always picks the color and orders them from the same company.
The colors, peach, yellow and white look perfect together
We pass this breathtaking path of trees while out on our adventures.
They are also Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees.
Items I purchased in the Longwood Gardens Gift shop.
Stationary, a suncatcher, paperclips for my junk journal, angel chime, seeds for the flower garden...
and 2 beautiful yellow flower desert plates...I do not need them but I had to have them.

So much beauty and goodness. Happy Friday.
Everything is beautiful, Debbie.
It has been ages since I’ve been to Longwood Gardens, so I was pleased to read about your visit. It made me smile that you mentioned those lovely dessert plates that you didn’t need but bought anyway. You are a woman after my own heart. I often buy things I don’t need, but are far too pretty to pass up.
Absolutely fantastic blooms. You are well ahead of us, but hopefully we'll be sooner!
Un bonito reportaje. Un beso.
Love the blooming trees and your tulips!
You are checking off things on your bucket list, a good start.
Looks like you found some nice things to buy.
Take care, enjoy your day! Have a great weekend.
I need to make a bucket list. Some days I just don't have anything to do. The flowers are exquisite.
translated - A lovely feature. A kiss.
All our early flowers are already gone. Waiting on some later stuff to bloom now.
I love this post!!! I love your bucket list. Look at you crossing all that off. It is satisfying to do that.
Awesome bucket list. The tulips around your mailbox are beautiful and what a pretty mail box you have.
Debbie, we were in New Orleans at a family funeral when you posted this... so I'm just reading it today. Your trees, tulips, everything around your place is just wonderful. How you and your hubby are able to keep it all so perfect is inspiring. I never do bucket lists... but I do do "lists"... if I didn't, I probably wouldn't get things done. We really need a new mailbox... ours is starting to fall apart (thank goodness for duct tape!).
Those tulips are breathtaking and the cover on your mailbox is very cute. Please ask your hubby to rub elbows with my hubby. I would love nice clean windows like yours, lol! Gorgeous blooming trees also. I need to do a bucket list!
So nice to be enjoying all the flowering trees, a bunch of ours died during a freeze we had after they bloomed :( But some made it through. So nice to enjoy all the flowers inside too. You are getting a lot on your list done already and you still have almost half a month left.
The cherry blossom trees are beautiful. I am totally smitten by your tulips. Enjoy!
