Keeping busy this winter has not been difficult for me.
I have way too many hobbies, I love being at home, and I enjoy being immersed in a craft project.
I have been coloring a lot recently, something I have not done since last year.
Nature's Inspiration
I am almost finished with the birds.
I tried to color the birds to look like the birds I see at my feeders.
I only color during the day, when the house is lighter.
I am also working on my 3rd blanket.
This is a blanket kit for beginners, and although I have been knitting for 10 + years,
I find these kits fun and inspiring.
The kit from Sierra Yarn includes everything you need to make the blanket.
All of the yarn, the circular needle, the pattern and a tag for the finished product.
It is their Dream Cloud Blanket in light blue/ivory.

The yarn is 60% Baby Alpaca and 40% Pima Cotton, it is as soft as a cloud.
I work on my blanket at night, I am able to knit on the blanet
and watch t.v. at the same time!

I love coloring too! I just found in my stash, a gift someone gave me, an adult coloring book. My granddaughter is 8 and she LOVES to color. She was over last night for supper and spied it. I said, you can color a page. She is very detailed, so this book was a good challenge for her. I only have other "baby" type color books. (according to her, wink, wink)

Debbie, like yourself, I also have multiple interests and the latest is working on jigsaw puzzles, frustrating at times, but also oddly addictive for me. Years ago, I also did “adult” coloring and it was very relaxing. Your projects are lovely.
The hydrangeas are beautiful. I always have a hard time with coloring books because I can't decide on colors.
You ARE busy with fun, productive things. I have to say, during Covid, I was never, ever bored. There was always something fun to do.
Your coloring is so pretty, that looks like a great book of images! Pretty colors in that blanket, nice to have things to do in the evenings, as you can see that is when I try to catch up on blogs :)
