I know I have mentioned at least 100 times how much I love my...
The Calendar comes with fun ideas for each month,
and stickers to place on the day that activity was completed.
I am also using stickers from my scrapbooking stash.
and trust me, I have a lot!
August gave us some really wonderful memories.
it hung around for pictures, then flew off.
I have raised and released 20 butterflies this summer.
Right now I have 10 teenie, tiny caterpillars and 4 in chrysalis form.
The small ones will probably form their chrysalis this fall and stay that way for the entire winter,
emerging in the spring of 2026.
- we saw a lot of fireworks -
- we did a lot of grilling -
- we've also seen some gorgeous sunsets -
we have done this every year since they first started school.
That was quite the experience this year...if you do this, bring a lot of money and maybe don't go to
I'm just going to say WoW, I had no idea what I was in for, the prices are insane.
But...they both got what they wanted, they were so happy and so was I.
There was a lot more but I have already shared those pictures!

Beautiful ❤️ photos and I love the illustrations on the August calendar.
Hi Debbie :)
Thank you for rearing the beautiful butterflies. They need a helping hand like yours to care for them and release them into the wild. You are a star in my eyes. Beautiful shots of the birds, squirrel and sky.
Lobster with chips is one of my favourite meals, thanks for sharing your August happenings.
All the best
Sonjia.
Hello Debbie,
Sounds like your August was awesome! Love the butterflies, the hummers and the finch. Your food looks yummy, I would love a lobster roll! Pretty fireworks, lovely moon and beautiful sunsets.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
It certainly sounds like your August was fabulous, I did enjoy your photographs.
Nice that you go shopping with Addie and Lorelei :)
All the best Jan
Such beautiful photos! Yes, I would steer clear of Lululemon! it is quite expensive but the kids love it!!!
You really had an amazing August, Debbie, and so many wonderful photos. The butterflies, hummingbirds and fireworks are great, but my favorites are those moon shots. Yiur camera lens really captured details!
It sounds like you had a fantastic August, Debbie! And a tasty one, too. Beautiful photos, each and every one.
By your calendar it sure was a full month, full of wonderful things. How wonderful to have released that many butterflies, and I love the pic of your hummingbird, and others :)
Yes it is crazy anymore the cost of things, I bet they had a great time shopping for just the right things, so sweet of you to do that with them!
Wow! Gorgeous photos! I tried the frozen grapes because we had too many to finish and it was really refreshing. And yup. Art knows how to pick the sweetest watermelon.
