We Have Babies...

Back on May 15th,

I discovered a pair of sparrows building a nest,
 in my beautiful birdhouse.
I followed them building that nest, I wrote about it and shared pictures here.
Both the male and female worked tirelessly gathering sticks and feathers building the nest.
You may also notice that the hubs has
planted the Vinca flowers for our summer gardens.

Here is mom outside...

and here she is inside, always keeping watch over her babies.

Mom feeding one of the babies, I do not know how many there are...

but I know she has been busy.

When not busy feeding her babies, she hangs outside keeping a watchful eye on the surrounding area.

I did not see dad on this day...
It won't be long before those little ones fly the coop!

Love that birdhouse! We love our birds! Are you bothered by squirrels? Here one has to have metal bits around the openings or squirrels will chew and make the hole bigger! Pesky squirrels!

It is so fun to watch them raise their babies. We watched chick-a-dees raise theirs and when they are trying to get them out of the nest and ready to fly is so sweet.

I for sure thought there would be pictures of swans, but the sparrows are pretty cute too!

Awww, she is enjoying her little ones, so curious how many she has, would be neat catching them leaving the nest.
