During our visit to Lake of the Lilies on Tuesday,
there were a few newbies in the water.
Two more swans have appeared for a total of only four.
Last year there were so many here, I hope at least some of those will return.
The Egrets have returned and were very busy fishing.
The picture above was his first catch...
this was the second catch.
If you look closely, you can see the fish in it's mouth.
The fisherman are back, we saw four.
And new to the lake, these Canadian Geese babies.
I sure hope they grow in to these feet, I've never noticed how big their feet were!

That last photo looks like it could inspire a story! How cute! love the goslings but you saw beautiful birds on this outing. It's so hot here...everything will be flying North!
Dear Debbie!
I am delighted with pictures of birds. They are beautiful and, as always, perfect.
Canadian geese chicks are real sweetie.
A relaxing weekend for your Husband and for you Debbie:)
The feet are the biggest part of the goslings. Love those egret shots too.
Hello,
I hope more swans and egrets come back to your lake. The swans and egrets are beautiful. The goslings are so cute, adorable collection of photos. They do have big feet. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend!

Your photos are awesome - as usual. And love those big feet!!
Gorgeous photos. Those are some huge feet.
I love that last pic of the gosling!
They really are huge feet!
All the best Jan
Isn't it interesting how things can be different year to year as when you see things happen, maybe it is too HOT there for them so they are taking their time coming back. I so enjoy seeing the little ones, Greg and I need to finish all this home and yard work so we can get back out and get some pictures :)
Oh, those are big feet! haha! Love seeing them and the beautiful swans and egret. Hope the swans do return. x K
The Great Egret images are superb, and the goslings are very cute.
Oh, so cute! That first photo where the swans appear to be touching bills is cool.
Lots of activity! The egrets are awesome! I know you're glad to see more swans. The goslings will grow quickly and won't look like they have clown feet.
The Canadian Geese babies are adorable. Of course, the Swans are Elegant and I like the Egrets too. I like the fisherman, also. Great photos on this one.
Sending hugs!
