~ Autumn in November ~

When I went outside today, the leaves were falling gently and it reminded me of Winter.

When the snow falls softly and covers the evergreens.
The air was warm, but my senses were heightened and it smelled like Fall.
It was a spectacular Fall day, let me show you...

The trees in my yard still have a lot of leaves,
turning yellow but a lot are still green.

There are a lot on the ground as well, it seems Fall came late for us this year,
as these images were taken on November 18th.

How about you guys, are you still seeing some color or has Fall "fallen"?!

Beautiful!! The yellow leaves against the blue sky - so pretty! Fall is still just barely hanging on, here. I can see a couple trees outside my window hanging onto their yellow leaves.

These are beautiful! I like the isolated leaf! Our color wasn't all that impressive this year.

Oh your photographs are breathtaking! I love the one with the leaves falling. They appear to be pausing mid-air. I think we will totally skip by autumn this year. We went from 80 degrees on Thursday to somewhere in the 50s to just below freezing. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous pictures. Hugs! Bonnie

Yesterday was an amazing day here, Debbie.
Nearly 70 degrees with bright sunshine.
Then...
Now, we have 12 inches of snow on the ground (and it's still coming down), 27 degrees, and 30 mph winds.
It's just beautiful out there, but what a difference a day makes!!!
Happy day to you, my friend.
xo.

Absolutely Beautiful capture of fall! Yes I agree fall came very late here, there were a few trees that changed and fell of a little at a time but now there is a bunch of Beautiful colors popping out all over and usually we are almost done with the color, really weird how late everything was this year, and now people to the north are getting snow, I am so not ready for that.

I love your fall colors against that gorgeous blue sky! Cool shot capturing the leaves in mid air! It's mostly brown here, but we are seeing just a little yellows with the last couple of cooler days.

Golden leaves are my favorite.

You captured some beautiful colors. I was out on a savanna today that was more brown than anything else. The breeze made the tall grass undulate nicely, though.

Beautiful scenes. In my world the trees are bare and I for one am waiting for that first beautiful snowfall to turn our world into a winter wonderland.Oh, we had a light dusting of snow, but not enough to be pretty.

Beautiful captures Debbie.
As each leaf falls ... so lovely how you've caught them on camera.

Our trees still have many leaves on - of all different colours.
I think the Autumn / Fall has lasted a little longer this year.

All the best Jan

These are such lovely fall photos. Our leaves have been late falling too; but as of this week they are almost all gone. I can feel that winter is coming on. It has rained today a lot which is so good; we need water badly.
Blessings and hugs~
