Meeting the Clydesdales!!

It was announced in March that the Budweiser Clydesdales would be coming to
I could not have been more excited.
I marked the calendar, followed the updates and I knew I would not be missing their visit.
The entire event was amazing.
Each horse was introduced by name as it was unloaded from the trailers.
Facts and information was provided about each of the horses.
Lucky for you, I don't remember much,
but one interesting fact I do remember was that each horse weighs about 2,000 pounds.

Once all the horses were unloaded, hitched up and secured, they paraded through town.

This was one of the highlights of my summer so far.
If you are interested in facts about the Budweiser Clydesdales, their website can be found here.
There is a lot of great information there,
all of the things I heard during the pre-parade event and have already forgotten!

Oh what beautiful horses. They are big, friendly giants, aren't they. That would have been the best fun to experience the Clydesdales' parade. What a happy, smiling photo of you, Debbie.

Oh Debbie, what an experience!
The horses were here about 5 years ago, and they are truly some of the most amazing creatures I have ever seen.
So glad you got to see them too.
Happy Sunday to you!

aw, yeah. I haven't been to Busch Gardens here in Tampa since Budweiser sold, and then the parks were spun off...but one of my favorite stops at the Gardens was the Clydesdales. They are so magnificent.

Look at you and Chuck, all smiling. I do love seeing you both looking so happy; y'all are adorable!

Those horses are so beautiful, such a great opportunity to see them. The Dalmatian, love him. One time my uncle gave my brother and sis-in-law one; my uncle's name was Herman, therefore they named him Herman also. They loved that dog so much. One day, though, they let Herman out to potty; went back in the house for a minute or two, came back and he was gone. We think someone picked him up; they really loved Herman.

Happy Sunday, my sweet Debbie. xoxo

It is exciting to see these magnificent horses. My great-grandfather took us to Atlanta to see them when we were kids.

Such beautiful horses! I saw them once, years ago, and the thing that really surprised me was just how big they are up close.
