Good Fences ~ Edition 121 ~

An afternoon in Asbury Park is pretty, when viewed from the boards.
I don't enjoy the sun, sand and water in Summer.
Fall, Winter and Spring, that's when you will find me walking by the ocean.
The view today, it was a sea of people and umbrella's.
The ocean, a natural, beautiful wonder,
lost in chaos.

I enjoyed seeing the American Flag, the sand fence,

the pretty clouds...

the blue sky and the deep blue ocean.
For me, those are the things that make me want to call this place home.

Sharing today with my good friend

My beach badge days are past me, too! LOVE that you could get these pictures! Love you, too!

My daughter and her friends might be in that crowd. I like sitting on the beach and relaxing but not in the sun. I never could understand how people can do that. Even when I was a kid I hated sitting directly in the sun. I even have an umbrella on my beach chair.

Hello, I am with you on the crowded beaches in the summer. I stay away from the summer crowds. Love the views of the water and sky, very pretty images. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

I don't do beaches any more either. BP meds and so on but sure did once. My favorite beach is in Destin Florida. I love the gulf and boating down there.

A pretty and busy beach area to spend the day.

I am with you on enjoying quiet beaches way way more than the chaotic ones. Oregon is usually cool enough even in summer that the beaches aren't that crowded. People go, take a walk, maybe fish or shell or dig clams etc -- but they don't usually lie out all day long under umbrellas. And there are lots of beaches -- all the Oregon coast is free and open to the public, no private areas. The beaches like you show are more the way the are on the Florida Gulf Coast near where we live -- even in the winter (probably especially in the winter -- we are never there in the summer).

It sure looks beautiful with all of the colorful umbrellas. We don't try to visit the beaches here right now...too hot! Have a good week! Hugs, Diane

I know what you mean. My husband wants to travel down to South Carolina to go to the beach and I said "Really? It's too hot there!"

What colorful summer beach scenes. I don't like extreme summer heat (or large crowded beaches) but it sure does look very pretty.

Hi Debbie--yep we like to walk those deserted beaches as well! It's a cycle every year isn't it? So glad you stopped in to see me......and thank you for your sweet words. So nice to hear from a friend. What y'all got planned this weekend?

When we went to the beach in Michigan it was the same way, just a mess of umbrellas and people, I am with you, I just can't take the sun anymore, I love it when I am inside in the nice cool or in the shade with a nice cool breeze blowing.

Gorgeous view! I would prefer it a bit less crowded, but it's there for all to enjoy.
