The Colors of Summer

Hibiscus

 Daisies

Daylily

Hibiscus

 Daylily

Daylily

Spirea

Cone Flower

The garden is especially beautiful this year,
even without my beloved Hydrangeas.
This past winter was too harsh for them, so this year,
they will not be blooming.
They are alive and very healthy looking, just no flowers.

What's blooming in your garden??
I hope you are enjoying all the beautiful colors of summer!!

Um...and when did you start work as a National Geographic photographer? Fab pix!
My hydrangeas didn't make it thru the winter, either. They just turned to sticks and keeled over. Fat green bush this year.

How ya feeling?

Love your flowers, the day Lillie's are my favorites! Your photos are gorgeous! Our roses suffered from the harsh winter and had to be cut way back. Summer is here in southwest Missouri and my flowers are baking in this heat. The looked good a couple of weeks ago but are lacking in new blooms. Keep those gorgeous photos coming Debbie, it is a joy to read your blog!

I don't have anything a pretty as your garden right now, though the zinnias are looking pretty good. Your Flowers are spectacular this year. Not to mention you photos are just incredible today. I love your garden.

The colors are so beautiful and vibrant! This past winter killed my butterfly bushes. It was just too much for them.

What a day brightener! Seeing all these healthy, colorful blooms. My lantana has taken off like a wild beast, but my gardenias are not blooming...maybe it was the harsh winter. And my crape myrtles are blooming so profusely that it's weighing down the branches.

Here it's so HOT the flowers are starting to melt.

Debbie, your flowers are all beautiful. I love the lilies, daisies and the gorgeous hibiscus.. This past winter has done a number on some of our plants too. I am worried about our Crepe Myrtle. Lovely photos, enjoy your week!

Just beautiful, Debbie!
It looks like you are right about where we are bloom-wise, except for the hibiscus. Ours never bloom until August.

Beautiful! I'm still waiting for a couple of these to bloom. My hydrangeas at home didn't weather well, this year, either. But we cut our hydrangeas in Vermont almost to the ground last fall, and they're going nuts - who knew? Your garden looks as though it's doing great!

I am enjoying all the beautiful colors of your flower garden. I don't have much to show. It has been a bad year for putting flowers in this year. Last year we when we had the yard trimmed and cleaned they pulled up all of the flowers that will come up yearly. I enjoyed these pictures and the bees on the flowers were an added touch of beauty.
Blessings for brightening my day!

Your flowers are beautiful! So far, in spite of the MO heat, the flowers are looking good except for a couple of knockout roses that died. I can't quite figure out what happened to them.
