Bear Creek Herbary

Less the 15 minutes from home...
there is a most beautiful Garden Center,
that I pass all the time, yet I have never stopped.

No words are necessary, this is by far one of the cutest
Garden Centers I have ever visited.

A few pictures of the main Gift Shop...

This branch was collected and saved, as they were clearing the property.
They dragged it into the barn and hung it here.
I just thought that was so clever!!

The Tea House Gift Shop

 The Hen House...

They sell lots of trees, shrubs, plants and flowers.

 Their vegetable garden...

their horses...

and their really cute, clever, adorable "stuff"!!

I purchased a "jelly" holder for my birds,
for in my garden...purple of course.
And some New Jersey fresh honey, for my sister and my neice.

That's a great place! Actually surprised you had never been there - that's not like you. :-) Love their ornamental horses and the bear!

Definitely a place I would like to hang out in. Was that a stuffed tiger in one of the shop photos? Love the animal stuff.

I like to walk through greenhouses when there stem' a lot of people around. So quiet with so much life around.

When there *aren't* a lot of people around. Darn autocorrect!

Oh, I want to walk those grounds, smell the air and hear the birds singing! What a fun place to go for a walk and come home with some goodies for the birds. Actually, I think I could live there... and be very happy!

I can see myself spending a lot of time...and money in that place! ha! The pond area with the Japanese maple reminds me of the botanical garden in Portland.

Sorry about that comment, it read like I was just learning English. What a fantastic place Debbie. If I lived there in New Jersey, I don't think I would ever want to leave and go home. What a fantastic gift shop. That Maple was beautiful.
Have a lovely day.

I would love to have visited this place with you. I love these kinds of places. I especially loved the shops. You always capture great scenery shots. I liked the hen house. It looked so clean and nice. We have thought about raising chickens; they just recently passed a zoning law so we could if we wanted too.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful place and continued blessing for you!
