Sisterhood

Have you ever felt like you didn't fit in??
That your friends don't really enjoy the same things that you do.

I like to clean and organize my home.
I love nature.
I love to bake and create.
I adore taking pictures and scrapbooking.
I enjoy working in my gardens.
I love my home and everything inside it.

I could waste spend an entire day taking pictures of birds.

A ride on my bike, a walk on the beach,
and my day is complete.

I love the hubs!!

Here in blog land, I feel like I fit in.
I have found so many "sisters" who get me,
who share the same passions that I do.

That's why this award means so much to me.

Many thanks to
for sending this my way.

Dianna and I share a love for the simple life.
On her blog, she shares great stories of love, family and history.
Her photography is amazing!!

Now, by accepting this award,
I am suppose to share a few things about myself
that you don't already know.

Are you kidding,
you all know everything there is to know about me.
So instead I am going to share a few things
about the hubs, that you may not already know.

He is the kindest soul I know.
We met when we were 15 years old, he was my boss at a fast food restaurant.
I asked him to my Senior Ball and he said "No".
When he was 9 he was in a car accident and then a body cast for 7 months.
He can't hear anything, unless you fart, "fluff", that he can hear.
He always wears a hat.
He can fix or do anything.
He is addicted to chocolate, the really good stuff!!

I was just telling a really dear friend of mine (who moved away about 3 years ago) that my blog friends notice when I'm MIA or having a hard time with something before my local pals do!! I LOVE MY BLOG BUDS!!

Oh girl, I can tell you that I am extremely grateful to have you as a blogger friend. I've always felt like a square pole trying to fit in a round hole. In blogland I don't feel that way. You deserve the award and I'm laughing at the tidbits of your husband especially about the fluffing.

Congratulations Debbie, I know what you mean. I have dear friends but as far as me loving photography as much as I do, it's lovely to be among blogging friends who have that same kind of passion. The info on your hubby was warm and cute. Thanks for sharing it and have a great weekend.

Congratulations - you certainly deserve a sisterhood award! And you've summed up so well how so many of us feel.

I read a quote the other day that was something like ... "I love my computer - all my best friends live there!" I never would have guessed before I started blogging that I would find so many sisters here.

Congrats and you said it all Debbie - I laugh now when I think back to how unsure I was about getting into blogging!
I love how you call them "fluffs" - in our house they're called SBDs Silent But Deadly :D)

No, you have also brothers whom you forgot to mention.

One of them likes to do most of the things you like.
