A Close Encounter...

with a Black Capped Chickadee!!

Trying to stay cool, in the shade of this tree,

and posing for pictures!!

Yesterday was wonderful!!
I came home to this little cutie sitting at the window.
He never moved.
I opened the window and shot these three pictures
and then he flew off.

The first imaged is cropped slightly,
the other two are not cropped, none have been edited.
I was just that close!!

Exciting stuff for me!!

These are amazing. You have a special connection with the bird to get that close. I need to get some lessons from you.:)

Hi Debbie...You need to try the seeds in your hand, and you can get an even closer shot, of course he may leave his calling card ; }
Good shots girl, and good that the little bugger was in great shooting distance !

This bird must trust you. It's a beautiful bird. I learned from my neighbour how his voice sounds but I never had the change to see it.
Have a nice day Debbie.
