Silver Lake

 We had a nice walk around Silver Lake, in Belmar back on April 20th...

looking for ducks, birds...and other wildlife,

I shared some of the critter images with my Saturday Critters post...you can find those here.

I found this really beautiful, well maintained Butterfly Garden at one end of the lake.

The Daffodils were gorgeous...

and they had a pretty butterfly bench right next to the garden.

Belmar Treasure Trail

This was butterfly station #29 , there are apparently 50 stops similar to this one in Belmar.

I need to get some more information on the other 49 stops, they will be in my future.

There is a website for checking and getting more information.

 I found this pretty shell in the garden,  I chose to leave it here for another child to find.

We saw this stunning heron that didn't want to move an inch.

I waited a long time and he honestly never mover.

We also saw a bald eagle while out, no pictures to prove it!
