Greater Shore Concert Band

 Presents it's
2024 Holiday Concert

We attended Sunday's concert and it was so wonderful.
Christmas music and narrative throughout...this is the best event we attend during the holiday season.
My knitting teacher Leanne plays the flute and we try to attend every year.
She is in this picture, all the way to the right, the conductor's podium looks like it is touching her face.

Me, Leanne, Wade and Leanne's mom.
Wade belongs to Liz, Leanne's sister and is drawn to music, he plays piano.
I am wearing the sweater I made.

The concert was held in a church and this manger, with live animals, was on the side lawn.

On the way home we passed this "one house" that was filled with Christmas decorations and lights.

I convinced the hubs to drive right up the driveway as if we owned the place.

In New Jersey, we don't mess around when it comes to Christmas decorations.
What a great way to end a beautiful day...

That's a lot of lights. They need a big metal cup for donations to pay for the electricity. Linda in Kansas

Driving past all of the Christmas lights and seeing how everyone decorated is one of my favorite parts of the holiday! I love the inflatables that they added. Thanks for sharing!

Those are such tall trees with lights. We have one house here that is decorated quite lavishly, but nothing like this. Very festive.

You are right about light displays in NJ, Debbie, as former residents remember seeing many similar to this one. Local Holiday concerts are always the best especially when friends are involved.
