An Afternoon at Allaire

The hubs and I love Historic Allaire Village and visit often.

A beautifully restored 19th Century iron producing community,
it was the home of James Peter Allaire,
a prominent 19th Century marine engine manufacturer.

Howell Iron Works

The front view of the Iron Works

The Church
The Hubs and I wanted to get married here,
my mom said "no".

The Blacksmith Building

Row Houses

The Daffodils were everywhere!!

The hubs and I love this tree,
we always try to get a picture here before we leave.

I love the church and it would have been great to have gotten married there, but I can tell from the smiles on your and Chuck's faces that it made no difference at all in your happy marriage where you said "I do"! Beautiful shots!

Love those buildings, especially the iron works! This reminds me a lot of a Shaker village we have here. Beautiful place!

I meant to tell you, I just loved those fussing bluejays! Also, the daffodils are gorgeous! You and your hubby under that tree...that's a sweet shot. The historic town looks like an amazing place to visit!

(Hey, have a renewal of your vows on a special anniversary in that church!)
