Last week we took a drive to Peddlers Village to see the 

- Peeps-Tastic Display -

Wall Art, Sculptures and Dioramas are creatively crafted with marshmallow peeps.

Bright bunnies and cute colorful chicks are at the center of the displays.

The viewers vote for winners in the three different categories, it is super fun to see and to vote.

Wise Words On Sunday

 - A Photo Shoot with a Northern Mockingbird -

This Mockingbird was not shy...

quite the contrary, it really seemed it wanted to share all of it's pretty sides with me.

Slight movements, gentle tilts of the head, this bird was the perfect model.

The Mockingbird is a familiar, medium sized, long tailed bird.

It is a grayish brown songbird, sexes are similar.

The Mockingbird has an extraordinary vocal mimicry capable of imitating hundreds of sounds,

including other birds.

This pretty songbird was photographed at

Peeps In The Village

Yesterday, we took a drive to Peddlers Village to see the 

Peeps-Tastic display that showcases the artistic talents of their local residents.

Wall Art, Sculptures and Dioramas are creatively crafted with marshmallow peeps.

Bright bunnies and cute colorful chicks are at the center of the displays.

The viewers vote for winners in the three different categories, it is super fun to see and to vote.

I will share a few of my favorites today, the rest on another day.

It was a super warm day with bright sunshine, no jacket was required.

This Egg Sculpture was my favorite.

I loved the soft Eastery colors, how well it was designed

and put together with such care.

This Haunted House was one of my favorites too.

There was a lot of attention to detail and I thought it was extremely creative.

Peddlers Village in located in Bucks County, Pa.,

about 1 1/2 hours from home.

We had a super fun day, a wonderful dinner...

I am just too tired right now to download all of the pictures we took.

A Walk On The Beach

Wednesday was such a beautiful day...the perfect day for a walk along the sun drenched beach.

The turquoise water was calm with gentle rolling waves.

The sand was so soft and warm, the air was crisp and filled with a gentle scent of salt.

- We Found Paradise -

Howe Street Beach in Bayhead New Jersey

Newly planted dune grass.

The beach is decorated for Easter...

At the inlet, we saw the "Moon Pool" a boat I have never seen in the past.

Last stop, 

Shore Fresh, our favorite seafood destination...for the freshest and best seafood money can buy.

Hot, fresh and delicious, their fried shrimp is outstanding!
