Hocus Pocus...

Our town had it's Harvest Festival on Saturday the 13th.
It must have taken us an hour to travel what would normally take 5 minutes, just to get there.
I believe the entire town attended, the place was packed.
We took one lap around the field, watched a corn hole tournament,
took a few pictures, just to prove we had been there, and left.

These were cute...

and the fish, this was adorable.
I'm not sure what it had to do with Halloween but it was there...and colorful,
so I had to take a picture!

The Lobster Salad Roll was the best part of the day,

they are really awesome at Shore Fresh in Bayhead.

In the evening, we went to an outdoor showing of
Hocus Pocus

Bette Midler was wonderful!

Have you ever seen this wonderful movie?
It's a great flick to see for the Halloween season!

I have not seen the movie. Everyone I know raves about it.
I really would like some Lobster--whole, tail or in salad.
You always find such fun things to do!

Bette Midler is always wonderful (imho)...... a good idea to watch it this season, I will have to see if it is on netflix (not as good as how you watched it, but you go with what you've got)..... We would agree I am sure that the lobster roll meal was the best part of the day .... have kind of aged out of crowded festivals no matter how fun they are. I do like the colorful fish -- maybe it is just a hay bale wearing a fish costume for trick or treat ;>)

Debbie - although it meant additional travel time and a little crowding, I think it's wonderful that your community comes out to support these types of events! I have seen Hocus Pocus and it's good, clean fun. Last night we finally watched The Greatest Showman - a terrific movie!

Wow it does sound like the whole town came out for it, neat idea they had for the hay, the plates for scales on the fish was very creative.
I have seen Hocus Pocus but it was many years ago, probably when it first came out, LOL!
