Home Chef

I did not order many meals from Home Chef this past Summer.
Not because we did not love them,
more because we were away a few times and out so much that the meals almost became a burden.
You can skip any one week or as many weeks as you want without penalty.

Tuesday, I received 3 meals for this week and I was pretty excited!
The meals came early in the day, around noon, so I decided to make one on Tuesday.

- Apple Cider-Glazed Bone In Chicken with Sweet Potato Wedges -
The meats are always vacuum sealed and packed separately.

All of the other ingredients are contained in a zip-lock sack.

Each meal comes with a large, easy to read and follow recipe card.

Sweet Potato Wedges, the open space to the left is for the chicken,
which is included on the baking sheet once it has browned.

The Chicken is first browned and then added to the baking sheet with the sweet potato wedges,
to finish cooking in the oven.

All of these ingredients were used in the sauce, the sauce was excellent!

Each meal feeds two people!

This meal was delicious...
and although the meals are generally adequate, I made carrots to go with this,
to be sure there was enough food to fill the hubs.

And speaking of the hubs...he made this for desert,
Blueberry Cheesecake
It felt good to stay home and cook...and this was the perfect meal for fall.

So who's back in the kitchen and what have you guys been cooking?

Those meals look like they have such fresh and quality ingredients. Since we've been back in Florida....we've been grilling a lot. We even made our famous grilled pizzas! heehee! Hugs!

that looks so delicious, especially the sauce on the chicken! I've been cooking a little, I made a big crock pot of chili last week and made homemade spaghetti meat sauce this week. Big crock pots of stuff like that last us for many days! and I do different recipes with them.
