Is There A Fairy Among Us!!

The hubs and I were out and about,
exploring an area of a Spring Lake Heights we have never explored in the past.
We were driving on Shore Road,

and happened upon this nesting station for Purple Martins.
- I'll share the bird pictures on another day -

Across the street,
in a park like setting, the hubs noticed some fairy like activity.
Someone had decorated the trees with miniature trinkets.

Everything you see, adorned the trees, in tiny fashion.

This next area you had to walk into.
A small cove in the trees, when you were inside,
it felt like a little fairy village, secluded among the trees!

What a find, people are so creative and clever...
I told you, stick with me and we will find cool stuff!

Have you ever happened upon something like this?

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox And The Horse

One of my blog friends recommended this book...
I purchased it on Amazon a few minutes later.

"The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse"
Everyone on earth should have this thought provoking book
that offers hope and inspiration.
The book talks about things that are really important, like kindness and self worth.
It is not a "reading" long story book...
it is a book for glancing at over and over again.
It will encourage you and make you smile!!

"What do you think is the biggest waste of time?"
"Comparing yourself to others"
- said the mole -

- I love the illustrations too -

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"kind" said the boy

"Is your glass half empty or half full?" asked the mole.
"I think I'm grateful to have a glass" said the boy.

The sky looked like this the day I sat outside reading this book.

Dinner looked like this, a Taco Pizza
This was a Home Chef meal that I switched up just a little.
It was really good!

This post, is for my favorite sister Kathy.
Her glass is always half full...and she is my only sister,
* wink *

Saturday Critters ~ 341 ~

Our Egrets are back...
and even though they have probably been back for a while,
my first sighting was this past Sunday.

I saw the Great White Egret first, it appears to be in breeding plumage.
Males and females look the same and without a medical exam,
you can not tell them apart.

The Great White Egret emanates a message of great compatibility and heaven sense.
It's message is that a prosperous time is near,
or has arrived.
You have completed the tasks to do that were before you!

Next I saw a Snowy Egret.
The Snowy Egret is smaller than the Great White, has a black bill and yellow goulashes (feet).
They represent liberation, wisdom, magic, love, luck and joy!

I loved the reflection in these 2 images.

I saw both of these at Lake of the Lilies,
which is proving to be a great nature preserve this summer.

What's Bloomin'...

There's a lot of color in my gardens right now...
I have 6 Hydrangeas and presently, they are all blooming beautifully!

Astilbe

Spirea

I have Daylilies all over in almost every garden, in a variety of colors.

I have 2 Butterfly bushes with their first blooms of the season.

And 2 of these pots on either side at the end of the pool.
This plant is artificial,
it gets full sun all day and we had no way to water it so,
we went with fake and you can't even tell!

So tell me, what's blooming in your garden?

Sleepy Swans...

and a few young ducks!

And then I found these little fur balls, cuddled up with their mom!

I must have taken 50 pictures, and these were the only two worth sharing.
Curled up in the grass, it was very difficult to focus in on them.

We also saw some Egret and Osprey, to share on another day.
Another day in the books,
filled with fun, exciting adventures!
