Saturday Critters ~ 251 ~

Some of the Beautiful Monarch Butterflies are still here...

These were probably born in September, and will soon be on their way to Mexico or California.
They have a long journey in front of them.

Oh what beautiful pics. You did an amazing job with them! I just started seeing butterflies about three weeks ago, hardly see them anymore around here. These that you have seen are so pretty.

I missed your sunflower post, just now saw it!! Those are amazing pictures. You and your new camera are a match made in Heaven!! I do so enjoy your pretty pictures of most anything, but especially the birds and the flowers and also all the fun places y'all go, so fun to see interesting things in different parts of the USA!

I've only seen one butterfly this summer. It was a yellow swallowtail.
I guess if I want butterflies, I am going to have to "grow" my own?

Debbie - I can't get over these pictures. The bright colors of the monarch against the blue sky … stunning! Of course I am familiar with the pattern on a Monarch, but the simplicity of the photo really pushed my eye to look at the curves and the shapes within the wing outlined by black. One of God's many unbelievable creations. Thanks for sharing these amazing photos with us.
