I am a Peeping Tom......

but I am peeping outward, so that's o.k., right??? As I continually "hover" at the window, trying to get the perfect bird picture, something just doesn't feel right. I keep telling myself it's fine to spend half my life at the window and the other half blogging about it but seriously, who do I think I am kidding. When blogger finally came back today, I read what my blog is "suppose" to be about and that needs some serious tweaking. I have no recipes to share, I haven't done a project or a crafty craft in a very long time while. I need a serious adventure but that will have to wait a little longer. Since being released from the hospital, I have been able to take pictures. I will share what I have and hope that it somehow entertains you.

someone is getting mighty chubby.......
too much grub while momma was away!!!!!

singing Gray Catbird.....
and believe me when I tell you he was belting it out!!!!

Gray Catbird
he looks a little mad......

Male House Sparrow....
also sporting a few extra pounds!!!!!

this goldfinch picture looked better yesterday,
my legs are quite unstable so I'll take what I can get.....

These photo's are far from perfect, but they are what I have been able to take in the last few days. I don't want to go into my archive and pretend that all's well and that I am taking amazing photo's, I'm not. But there is a certain joy these "imperfect" photo's evoke. A joy I know all too well. The joy to be able to hold a camera, to push a button and to freeze time for just an instant. To capture that moment, in digital form forever, is just priceless!!!!

  1. and these are a testament to your resolve! they're wonderful shots. i'm SO jealous you get catbirds - and your photos of them are fantastic. :)

  2. I do the same thing! I can't tell you how many bird photos I've taken through the window. I love the goldfinch. I used to get a lot more than I do now.

  3. Hello, good morning, I came to invite you to meet DECORATED HOME!

  4. It is just good to hear that you are able to o this again.Enjoy the birds through the window and keep sharing the pictures.
