Yarn Along

It's all done..
I could have finished it sooner but I have been dilly-dallying...
with who knows what.

This is my latest crochet project the
Farm Girl Cowl
I really loved working with this yarn...
jilly & kiddles
hand dyed in Rhode Island
Fancy Sock Yarn
85% Super-wash Merino - 15% Nylon

Now I am trying to decide if I should put fringe on it!
Any thoughts?

These are the buttons I ordered from Etsy shop, Back 40 Woodcraft, for my
Farm Girl Shawl
they came with a nice, hand written note, isn't that always so special!

The buttons were made from the branch of a Colorado Spruce Tree,
the bark is still on them and I love that.

I still have to sew the buttons on but they will be placed about here!

What do you think about fringe on the cowl, let me know in the comments, yay or nay?

I think you could go either way... but if it were mine, I’d say nay - leave it as it is. Cute!

I think I like it best without the fringe but the buttons are perfect.

I so love the colors in that yarn, just gorgeous, oh my I love the cowl both ways but I do think the fringe adds a little something extra, although I wouldn't be able to wear it around Opie, that little stinker would chew on the fringe, eeekkk!
Those buttons are so cool, you know many years ago when we were going through Wyoming we stopped at a little gift place and they sold earrings that were little slices of trees and they colored them somehow and put resin over them and made earrings, I bought a set for myself and my daughter, before she moved out of our house she was going through her stuff and asked if I wanted them since she didn't think she would wear them, so now I have both sets, they are so neat, the card they came on told how they grew the trees just for this craft and it wasn't taking away from the environment.

I love the blue one and the fringe and those buttons--I never would have thought to get buttons like that. So cute.

If it were mine to wear, I would say, go without the fringe, but it would look good either way.

I can't decide on that one. I think it will be beautiful any way you do it. I love the colors. I love the blue colors too and the buttons will look lovely on it.
Blessings and hugs!
