Yarn Along

Seeing Double...

You may think that,
but if you know my knitting habits, you know that when I learn a pattern,
I tend to "remake" it more than a few times.

Once I finished the blanket for the baby we are waiting for -

I started another, with the same yarn because I had so much left over.

This is such a fun and easy knit, I am going to make several,
in these colors and a few in a different color scheme.
Knitting a few extra blankets, putting them away for when I need them,
sounds like a wonderful idea.

Also, I have a great niece who is 8 months old, I never knitted anything for her,
and I think she could still use a blanket like this,
in pretty shades of pink of course.

  1. Congratulations for the finished work 👏 is very cute Debbie.
    Good wednesday

  2. Look at you go!!!!!!!!!! The blankets are going to take place of the hats!

  3. THat is a great idea. Then you have them when you need them. I love the colors. You do such a great job.

  4. Way to go, Debbie! Happy Knitting :) Hugs to you

  5. So beautiful, Debbie, but where's the purple? :)

  6. I love the colors. You are very talented. I wish I had taken the time to learn. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. You have been bewitched by your beautiful blanket, Debbie. How fabulous to knit up some more. You will be able to do it with your eyes closed! =)

  8. Definitely the baby needs a blankie!!!

  9. Anyone that receives one of these beauties, hand knitted by you, is a very lucky person!

  10. I know what you mean (once you know a pattern...). I just finished my first crocheted shawl (considered an advanced pattern...can you see me jumping up and down here?????). I struggled with it at first, but once I got it, it wasn't so bad after all, just a lot of constant concentration. SO, I just purchased some new yarn to make another. :-)

Your blanket is just beautiful, Debbie, and I really look forward to seeing a pink one.

Happy Easter to both you and Chuck.

  11. Wow, you are awesome to continue to make these beautiful blankets. They will be treasured for sure. Blessings and hugs!
