Home Chef

I continue to receive Home Chef meals, three per week.
Each meal is $ 10.00 per person...
the total cost is $ 20.00 per night, they do not charge for shipping.
The meals are excellent,
all ingredients are pre measured, each meal is stored in it's own sack.
You just have to get your sack out of the refrigerator,
wash and chop your ingredients, then cook.
Each meal includes a detailed recipe card, with step by step instructions.
So far, for the most part, everything is as fresh as I would find in the food store.
I did have one rotten potato that I could not use but I always have potatoes in the house.
They offer about twelve meals to choose from each week,
so I have not had any trouble finding three meals that I know we will enjoy.

Week 5

Chicken Milanesa
with lemon aioli and spinach almond salad

Hearty Steak and Red Wine Stew
with toasted roll

Pesto Butter Steak
with cacio e pepe orzo

Week 6

Chicken Diane
with mashed potatoes and green beans

Lasagna Arrabiata
with red bell pepper and mozzarella cheese

Chicken with Beurre Blanc
and dilled parsnaps and carrots

The meals take between 30 and 60 minutes to prepare...
and I have really enjoyed this service.
The meals come on Tuesday and I wait "impatiently" for the FedEx man.

  1. Debbie, the dishes look very tasty.
I suppose they are very tasty.
    Have a nice Sunday.
    Greetings from Poland.

  2. The meals look delicious, Debbie. And so convenient!

  3. The meals look and sound delicious! Such an interesting concept. Since Greg is doing most of the cooking these days, I think he might like to have all the ingredients delivered with instructions. Sometimes the hardest part is just planning and buying. Hmmmm....

  4. Mmm Mmm Mmm! Those look wonderful and your plating skills are amazing!

  5. MMMMMM, I am quite hungry you ship??

  6. They need to let you take the pictures for their ads as you make them look so delicious. Sounds like a great idea to use this service. I have several friends who have tried different ones and some are pleased and others not so much. Sounds like you have hit on a good one...

  7. The meals do look scrumptious...unfortunately, the Pres wouldn't go for them or their size...LOL!...:)JP

  8. They all look good and it I bet it is nice to just know what you will eat that week and not have to go and get all the ingredients at the store.

  9. I must say, those all look really delicious and so different from what we have for dinner.

  10. How amazing and easy to make dear Debbie!!!

    each dish is MOUTHWATERING!!!

  11. And I continue to be impressed! Those all look so good!

  12. These look delicious Debbie ...

    All the best Jan

  13. I love how you display these lovely meals. They all look so delicious. I like that you don't have to do a lot of extra work. I would like to try them sometime. Maybe when I don't have children here.
    Big hugs for this one!
