Currently, I Am Not Speaking To You...
The fact that this is a Mature and an Immature Cormorant does not surprise me, a teen perhaps.
The young one never moved...
the mature one never flinched.
It was a standoff of sorts...
and no-one gave in.
This beautiful hybrid duck sat close by, the moderator perhaps, he never moved either.

Love this....
haha ... lovely shots. Cormorants rock.
Yep, kind of like what humans sometimes do as well!
I needed a laugh this morning- such pretty birds too
Great photos of the cormorants. The duck looks like it’s covered in velvet. Beautiful shots, Debbie.
Very witty post and nice shots.
The hybrid duck with its blue beak is lovely!
Those a re great captures.and a good story to go with them.
That is an amazing shot not to mention you noticed it. There is something going on there you can tell.
I love that bottom duck picture too. Very nice Debbie.
LOL! Guess they were all having one of those days! Beautiful photos!
Haha! I love it!
I am still smiling. They remind me of my grand kids....Great shots....
Good challenge, Debbie 😊🙋 Magnificent photos. I love. Thanks for sharing.
Besos.
Great shots of the cormorants. What makes you think the duck is a hybrid? Looks like a Greater Scaup to me.
thanks nanci, i have been trying to comment on your blog with no luck. i have tried to sign in, comment as a guest and nothing is working. you have the no-reply set up on your comments so i am not able to reply to you in that way. i know the problem is on my end. i had to clear my history and reset my computer in order to view my banking information, td bank revamped their system. anyway, i have really tried and have no other way to communicate with you. i was so happy to reconnect with you BUT now this. i will continue to read and try to leave comments!!!
What fun shots of these birds. I like the first shot very much.
Loved seeing these photographs and your words fitted each picture so well.
All the best Jan
So funny -- the pictures would be great by themselves, but your words made me laugh out loud -- yup, your guess at what's going on sounds exactly right to me. Just great. (It was nice that the family fight caused them to stand still long enough for some great photos... I wish that would happen to me more often with birds!)
ha ha, I love your commentary!!
This is the most perfect and fun post, Debbie. I don't think you could have captured better photos if you tried. Your captions of these two cormorants are brilliant!
Wow, amazing shots of these magnificent birds. Just have to wonder why they were so still. I love the photo of them facing away from each other.
Blessings and hugs!
