The Nor'Easter That Wasn't...

New Jersey got slammed with a storm last Friday, they called it a Nor'Easter...
also know as a "bomb cyclone" to the millennials...

It snowed all day here in Ocean County...
but the snow never accumulated on the warm ground.
High winds were forecasted,
60 miles per hour, but it didn't happen in this part of New Jersey.
North Jersey was not as lucky and some people are still without power.

We spent Sunday evening here, in Asbury Park...
watching the reflection of the sunset,
it was really beautiful.

I am looking forward to Spring and Summer...
evenings spent here on the boardwalk.

Boardwalk fries, sausage sandwiches, funnel cake and fireworks.

There is nothing better than summer at the Jersey Shore.

Loving your first shot....nice. Loving the beach shots also. Yep, you guys have been getting slammed up your way. Sorry....spring in full bloom here in TN.

Glad you were spared the full effect of the storm (whatever it is called)... I've been thinking about all my blog friends and hoping for just the kind of report you share here! Your past posts always make your area seem wonderful , especially in the summer and I'd love to experience that sometime. Except that summer and fall are lovely in Oregon too (and our family is there, so yeah. You know who wins.)

Debbie, at least you got SNOW! We got WIND & RAIN...TORRENTIAL RAIN. However, this week's "nor'easter"may give us ' of SNOW, which although I'll be on the road Thursday, would be AWESOME for snowshoeing!!!...:)JP

pretty pretty pictures of the gorgeous beach sky there, love the colors! Reminds me of sherbert, do you like sherbert?---I don't think I've ate sherbert in YEARS. I surely do have a deep love of chocolate chip ice cream though, ha ha ha LOL Boardwalk/beach treats are so amazing, you are right about that! I dearly love onion rings! And foot long hot dogs drowning in cheese and diced onions and hot chili! starving just thinking about it, ha ha LOL

I just love how dramatic the clouds can make a sunset, and how they can be so many different colors. I am so glad you guys are ok and didn't get hit as bad as other areas did. My daughter is ok in Connecticut too, hopefully will do well through the next storm coming through. Isn't it wonderful to have spring and summer to look forward too :)

Your sunset pictures are beautiful. And I am with you on being ready for the boardwalk weather. I am glad you guys didn't have the bad weather as the other part of the state did. We had lots of wind but that's about all...

I guess winter isn't quite over with. We got a big snow storm here and then a very little one. We will take what we can get; we need the mositure. Loved all the lovely photos. Asbury Park looks like such a lovely place to be. I like the thoughts of your walks on the Boardwalk and the food sounded yummy too.
I too look forward to spring.
Blessings and hugs!
