Cappuccino Mousse Trifle

I made this to bring to the Christmas Party for the knitting crew.
I think everyone enjoyed it, it always seems to be a hit.

It is super simple, no cooking is required...

Three layers of a pound cake, cubed, I always use SaraLee,

then milk, mixed with coffee...then instant pudding...

then cool whip.

Part of the milk mixture is reserved,
and poured on to the pound cake.

Finished with Cool Whip and grated chocolate!

I started making this before Pinterest, so we have the old fashioned recipe card...
I quite like that!

Not awake yet..hit send too soon. I love seeing your recipe card! I still have a loose leaf binder of favorite recipes and I like to leaf through it every once in a while, even tho I use my iPad for most of my cooking nowadays. It’s fun to be retro once in a while!

You can't beat an old fashioned recipe card, or a cookery book from way back when, there is just something a little extra special about the recipes :)
Bet everyone enjoyed this.

All the best Jan

Oh you had me before the coffee, I don't like coffee, one of my friends brought a dessert to the church potluck once and I asked her what was in it, when she said coffee I said oh I don't like coffee, she said oh try it you can't even taste it.... let's just say maybe someone that drinks coffee can't really taste it but someone that doesn't like coffee sure could, one bite was enough for me, wonder how it would be without the coffee, or something else can be substituted?
