During Times Like These...

A drive in the car is good for the soul, some of the spring blooming trees are beautiful right now.
I found this pretty Tulip Magnolia not far from the house.
I made the hubs stop for pictures...
he stayed in the car, checking to be sure we had enough money for bail...
you know, in case the homeowners called the cops and I got arrested!
I was tress-passing huge, so who knows.

- table turned -

I would make that girl with the camera a glass of sweet tea,
and be thrilled that someone else was enjoying and photographing my tree.

 - Sheer bliss -
both feet planted firmly on the ground, the sky above, sunlight in my eyes,
the view was spectacular looking straight up!

One single bud, of so many, getting ready to open up and see the sky!

The first true sign of spring, Forsythia, like sunshine, they are blooming bright!

We now have a "Stay In Place Order" the Governor said "Stay Home"
I hope that doesn't mean we can't go for a ride in the car?

We have not really done anything else except a bike ride and some yard work at home.
How are you guys passing the time?

Hello, the Tulip Magnolia blooms are just beautiful. We have some forsythia, but the color does not pop look on your photos. The bike ride and car car sound good, breathing in the fresh air. Take care! Wishing you a happy day!

I absolutely LOVE the Tulip photo's. How much more beauty do we need on days like this? Thank you, Debbie. I'm glad Chuck was countin' the money just in case. :)

Oh if only you could add the aroma!!! Just beautiful. We don't have a stay home order here so hubby has gone to the shop a couple of time to deliver and pick up and we have gone to a couple of drive through's and ate in the park or the car. Other than that we are staying home and getting fat!

Dear Debbie!
Magnificent magnolia and forsythia.
Debbie, as always, your photos are perfect.
For safety:
we have to stay at home because of the Coronavirus.
We can go to the doctor, pharmacy, and shop quickly.
We must be wearing protective gloves and a mask.

Be safe at home.
Hugs and greetings from far away Poland.

Oh wow! Beautiful blossoms. I do hope that going for a ride will not be taken away from you or me. We are being asked to only go out for the necessities.Rides are still ok.

Oh my, how pretty! I am familiar with forsythia but the tulip magnolia is a real beauty. We won't have spring for awhile yet so it is nice to see these images!

Wow! The flowers and trees are really gorgeous! I always loved Forsythia and had a hedge of it in NC. We are hiking when we can and yesterday we took a drive. The wildflowers are blooming in the ditches here! Take care of yourself sweet friend! Hugs!

Such pretty pretty pictures, so glad you shared them! MY GOSH WHAT A BRILLIANT BLUE SKY there!! We stay in too, but we do take a little drive from time to time, they told us we can get outside for "exercise purposes", so far everybody is obeying the 5 foot rule as suggested, there are ALOT OF skateboarders and roller skaters out now than there EVER WERE. LOL We've always had lots and lots of folks on bikes in Charleston, but there is now an increase. The horses have been moved to fields and pastures out on the farms in the country and the carriage rides have been temp. ceased. Luckily the weather is real real nice and we can get outdoors which HELPS SO MUCH. (PARKS AND BEACHES ARE CLOSED SO WE CAN'T GET TO ALOT OF OUR "regular" walking spots) tAKE CARE AND STAY HEALTHY MY FRIEND

Such gorgeous photos! You did good to get out and see all this! I don’t think that was against the rules. You didn’t come in contact with people and that’s what’s important!
I’m still cleaning but the fire in my soul has died down and now I just need to get it done. It’s no longer a burning necessity!

Those are gorgeous blooms! Glad you got out of the house for a while. Funny how being told to stay home seems to make people more stir crazy.

Hello Debbie, what glorious Magnolia Blooms! To look through their branches to the blue sky is a real treat.
I feel safe staying at home - not that we were gadabouts before all this virus business. On our last trip out to the supermarket a week ago we wore face masks and were the only ones who did... one stupid fellow sniggered at us! I hope more people are taking it seriously by the time we have to go out again, but I felt better having worn it, so did my hubby.
Thank goodness for our hobbies and the garden - we count ourselves amongst the lucky ones but we cant help but have the same worries and concern for our loved ones and people the whole world over in the way they are being affected be they workers, medical staff, police etc etc.
All the very best to you and your dear man xx

We don't have nearly the signs of spring that you captured. I love the photos of the Tulip Magnolia trees; spectacular. The Forsythia is beautiful. I love yellow anyway, due to it be a sunny and happy color.
We have a Stay Home, Stay Safe order but not the total Stay In Place one. We are staying home pretty much most of the time. We have gone out for a few grocery items during the posted senior hour.
Blessings, love and hugs for you!
