Yarn Along

I finished my...

 Farm Girl Shawl

Crocheted with hand died yarn by
knot house yarns
100% Superwash Merino
The color is Rhinebeck Love Bus
representing the colors of the logo Leanne created for Rhinebeck last year.
This pattern can be purchased on Raverly, here for $ 4.00.

It needs two buttons, I looked on Amazon but that is a difficult item to buy online.
My friend Liz, who wrote this pattern, reminded me to check etsy.
That was a great idea but now I am overwhelmed with all of the choices,
I am on button overload!
Like when you go to a diner and read the menu...too many choices!

I also "updated" this picture this week.
I made this piece years ago but it needed updating and a few changes.
Now was the perfect time to do that, as I have nothing but time right now.
I originally used stickers for the leaves, which I didn't like,
it didn't have any sea glass or shells, I think it looks better with those additions.
I make these for my nieces when they get married!

I have been cleaning, organizing, cooking and I am back to knitting my
Irish Hiking Scarf
I love being home so everything is good here!

What are you doing to keep busy?

Your scarf is so beautiful! I think I'm going to knit something too. We should be at home ... we shouldn't be doing too much outside and keep our distance from the outside world!
The photo has become very nice!
Have a great Wednesday, take care and stay safe, especially in these troubled times ...

Hello, Debbie! Your scarf looks beautiful. Etsy does have some wonderful items. I love your art work, well done! I've been trying to take walks locally and I am reading a lot. Take care and stay well. Have a great day and week ahead.

That picture is so beautiful.. I would have never in a million years.
My hands are fully with homeschooling the boys.. but I love not having an alarm and just being able to lay in bed for a while.

That "update" Picture Is Unbelievable - You Should Be Be Proud Of That Piece Of Work - And The Sea Glass, Near By Beach?? With Your Free Time, I Would Love A Smaller Version - Have A Spot On The Living Room Wall That Would Work Well - Stay Creative Debbie

Cheers

I my dear friend,
It's been a while again. I just can't seem to get caught up. However, right now with being more grounded at home, perhaps that will happen. I'm anxious to go back and read your posts; I miss them. Plus of course, I love your photos. I really love the shawl you made the colors are lovely. I like the updated picture too. You are so talented and have good creative skills.
I did use one of your photos yesterday on my quick blog post.
Well, I do hope all is well with you both. We had an earthquake today to add to all the rest of the excitement in the world.
Prayers, blessings and hugs for your family!

Debbie - your shawl turned out so nicely. Looking forward to seeing you model it! To keep myself distracted, I am taking long walks and working on my Violet Protest squares. My husband and I are watching movies at night, and Skyping with family members. This situation may have some silver linings if it brings us closer in certain ways! Stay well.

Debbie that shawl is BEAUTIFUL....love it! Sure turned out pretty. I also love the sea glass art....gosh girlfriend you are so good at SO MANY THINGS!! I loved the beach pictures yesterday too. I love how "they" decorate it......so fun, and festive!! It must be the leprechauns....and their fairy friends, right? LOL We drove to the beach yesterday, it was quiet and peaceful, just what I needed. Hugs!

The shawl really is gorgeous! WOW...the yarn just works so well with that pattern! And the sea glass art is special. I know I should do something like that but don't know where to start. I love being home too but so far I'm doing 'normal' stuff. ...trying to catch up. We hiked yesterday and that was great! Only 2 other people on the trail! Stay healthy and happy! Hugs!
