Saturday Critters ~ 286 ~

I found the nest in early May...

at the bottom of the pretty wreath by my front door.

By May 10th there were 4 eggs in it.

I found these little babies on May 24th...

May 26th...

June 3rd...

Mom taught them to fly and they flew off on June 5th.
This is the last picture I took of them, June 4, 2019.

Congratulations on this happy event, Debbie. And thanks from bird lovers everywhere for providing a safe nesting space for these House Finches. They now have to deal with life in the wild but you have given them a very good start.

How precious they are. I know you felt sad when they flew away but happy for them too! How wonderful to get to see them 'grow up'! Enjoy your weekend!
