These little suckers have a "stripe" down the middle that has to line up.
Honestly,
I have knitted lace that has lined up, patterned wraps and scarves perfectly in line,
yet made so many mistakes on these leaves.
yet made so many mistakes on these leaves.
I can't even count how many of these little suckers I have "frogged" out.
whomp - whomp
it is on hold because somehow I ran out of white yarn.
I have 3 blocks to complete, before it will be done.
I have 3 blocks to complete, before it will be done.
I purchased 2 journals this week, for 2 projects I would like to start.
I thought maybe if I talked about it here, I would be ashamed if I didn't pull through.
So far, no writing, no start to the projects...
- no shame -
And I asked the hubs to make a special trip to Barnes & Noble just so I could get them...
I need a kick in the rump.

you are remarkably wonderful at your skills of knitting dear Debby!
i am impressed and drawn to the olden days when my (late) mom used to knit a lot and she was brilliant either !
i loved these pretty leaves and specially baby blanket is sooo beautiful and loved the pattern too!
Sometimes picking up the pen is the hardest part!
I am so jealous you can go to Barnes & Noble!! I love your leaves....I think the stripe down the middle of your leaves adds character.
Hello, your leaves are so pretty. They will make a beautiful fall banner. I love the colors on the blanket. Enjoy your day!
Your talent is amazing, Debbie! Wish I could get interested enough to start some kind of project.
Is the crochet Nazi going to check the leaves? They are beautiful to me! :)
xoxo
It is always a pleasure to come see your work Debbie. The leaves are beautiful
Returning from a very complicated summer. Already everything is OK
Besos.
I love those leaves! I couldn't see anything wrong with those leaves.
I love your blanket. But those journals! Those are fantastic. Its always hard for me
to make the first mark in my journal. But once I finally do it, then the words just flow. wink wink.
I am chuckling on this one. You are so amusing, and I love your personality. Trust me, I need a kick in the rump too and often.
Don't you know that regular leaves don't have perfectly straight lines. I think your leaves look spectacular. I would like to know how to make them.
Your baby blanket is perfection in the making. I love the colors and pattern; as I have mentioned before.
I like the journals you picked out. I will look forward to what you do with them.
Blessing, hugs and loving thoughts for you!
I think your leaves look good, really nice colour yarn too.
All the best Jan
Rip it, rip it. I so understand.
Your creations are so beautiful, I had no idea one could even make leaves like this with yarn!---so pretty. If there are mistakes, I sure can't see them! I'm sitting here wondering what your new project could be....hmmmmmm.......a day travel journal perhaps? maybe with pictures? To all the fun places y'all go to around there?
Beautiful Leaves are anything but boring.
Debbie, You are an artist...I love the things you make. So pretty. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
I bet that most of us who use our blogs as our 'happy places' could also use a journal to record and work through those other kinds of days and thoughts. Important to be in touch with both parts of life. But it is so much harder.
I like the leaves - what a cute project. And oh my, those journals! My heart did a thumpety thump - I just love the endless possibilities of an empty journal. I hope you have lots of fun filling them up!
