Saturday Critters ~ 169 ~

A March Snow Day

Lines formed at the backyard bird feeders.
Have you ever noticed that everyone eats more when it snows?

Yesterday - we got a beautiful March snowstorm - pretty, big, fluffy snowflakes -
no cleanup was required.
There are rumors of another one coming early next week.
March has been both a lion and a lamb.

Absolutely fantastic photos of your pretty yard birds Debbie!
I think word has spread among the birds in NJ that your yard is the place to be!

They all look like little butterballs with their feathers all puffed out for warmth. Great pics, Debbie.

Oh, I have to imagine how a lion and a lamb can be.

But all these birds do not feel anything different.

These are fabulous pictures!! Yes our birds seem to go crazy with the bird feed just before rain or snow. These would make fabulous Christmas cards!

So pretty! It snowed here this morning and I was amazed that birds were still hanging out, chirping away. I felt bad for them. It was COLD!

Great pictures. I always notice that the birds are feeding more when a storm is approaching.

That first picture is stunning! They're all very good. Yes, more birds at the feeders if there's snow.
