Yarn Along

Since finishing my "this is taking forever" Outlander Cowl
I decided to take on a simple project for a little while -
and when I say simple, I mean simple.
So far it's been fun, light and breezy and my brain is really enjoying it!

I'm knitting wash cloths for Christmas gift giving.

One tan, one blue - joined with a bar of felted soap -
I think that will make a wonderful gift for those I need this size gift for.
I am working with 100% organic cotton yarn, Seedling, and I am in love with the colors.

I am joining Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along

ps... we didn't get any snow at the Jersey Shore.

Great job. I like the colours too.

We had a vicious storm for eight hours. Today the snow is melting again. The weather is weird.

Oh so pretty! It may seem simple to you, but looks difficult to me since
I've forgotten how to knit and/crochet. :)

Love those colors too!

I am still going to make these. I know that they are our favorite kinds to use.
I just need to get with it. I really love the way yours look and I love that stitch.

I knitting wash cloths. With soap they do make excellent presents. I've been sewing bamboo towelling ones which are supersoft and the children love using. Happy knitting.

Now Debbie....a simple project? Really now, haha, I normally make all mine simple if I can! I recently gave up knitting and crocheting and gave a big bin of yarn away to the local artist studio in my area. I kept some, only cause I missed it when I was packing the yarn up so I have some to play with it I decide too. Your stitches look great. Keep on keeping on...

Wow it's amazing you didn't get any snow when others got hit so hard, glad you didn't have to deal with all of that

I love it! I made crochet washcloths and soap for Christmas a couple of years ago. It was a fund gift (even though they sell soap in stores... :-))

I really love this idea. These washcloths are beautiful and I think with the soap that will be the best of gifts. It's such a awesome idea. I wish you were close to teach me how to do it. I couldn't start until after Setpember but I do love the thoughts.
Enjoy the knitting moments! Blessings and hugs~

what pattern are you using? These are very nice. I'd like to get a useful gift like this... less dust-collectors for me these days...
