Wild Bird Seeds and Such!!

I love to "Buy Local"...to support the little businesses in any area,
and especially those close to home.
When we take a trip, I really enjoy supporting the local shops.
This store is so much more than it's name,
it is, without question, the most adorable shop I have ever visited.
The hubs and I love to go, buy products often
and I was so happy to share it with my sister, while she was visiting.

It's close to home...in Brielle, NJ,
now lets quit the chatter and get to the good stuff...pictures!

Dear hubs, this is the birdhouse I fell in love with...
just in case you were wondering!!

The woman who owns this shop is just the sweetest thing,
and has a wealth of knowledge about birds that she loves to share.

My sister's daughter Sarah wants to start feeding the birds.
We picked her up a feeder and some seed.
I am so excited that we share a passion for bird watching,
I am sure she "gets it" from me!!

I love it! I have a local shop in Vermont that looks a lot like this - one of my favorite places to visit. I know I could save a little money getting some of these items from Amazon - but if we all did that, I wouldn't have a cute shop like this to visit. Besides, the owner has such a wealth of information and is fun to speak with! You did an awesome job capturing the quaintness of this shop!

WOW!!! I don't think I should go near a store like that and if I were to go in,I would have to leave money and credit cards safely locked in the car. Just sayin'.

I'd go nuts in that store -- just love all the goodies. I'll bet you could build that birdhouse yourself with recycled items!

Such a unique whimsical & adorable shop. Yes I would have to have that last birdhouse too, decorated to resemble a grandfather clock my first thought, lucky treasure to be found. I would be coming out with more then one birdhouse. Hope Sara seen this shop I think she'll turn out to be just like her aunt.

This is just so cool! I remember having that bird feeder with the dome on top. It worked great to keep the squirrels from eating all the seeds.

My weekend would of turned out wonderful if i could of as planned went to the beach & just walked on the sand but it turned cold & rainy, so instead stayed home & deep cleaned the house. Next will be yard work & getting the garden ready for planting.

We went anyway, I'll be sharing those pictures on Thursday!! A few weeks ago, I started cleaning up my gardens and I did some pruning and put down some new mulch, then it snowed and I lost interest. Most of my gardens are a mess!!

Oh this shop looks like a great place to visit. Since following your blog; I am planning on having a couple of bird houses in my back yard this year. We did have sweet Morning Doves nest in a tree a couple of years ago. It was so fun to watch the new little fledglings. I had hope they would come back again; but they didn't. Blessings and hug!
