Good Fences ~ Edition 50 ~

Today, I am sharing some pretty views of the beach fences in
Stone Harbor...
where the ocean is no longer frozen!
*  smile  *

Beautiful white snow, lays on top of the pretty white sand.

These beach fences at the Jersey Shore
are suppose to provide protection from both the snow and the sand.

But they are buried in wind driven sand...

and snow.

Sharing these pretty beach views with my good friend

Stop by and consider joining in the fun, any fence or gate will do!

The snow and sand together with the grass and fencing make very pretty photos!

Love the snow and sand together. It reminds me of when I lived in Canada right by Lake Huron. It was always so cold to walk down to the water during the Winter months, but it was always so beautiful.

Hugs!

I always thought the beach in winter was majestic! I do think the fences don't always do what they should!

This is the first time I have seen snow on the beach! I love your first shot with the purple shadows on the snow.Gosh the fences are practically buried in the other shots, but I do like seeing the white sand with patches of snow, it's a most unusual sight.

Oh yes winter lingers here and there, but oh so soon it's cold, icy touches will be history for us all. Even though I'm so over winter, you photos here (great captures looking in too) they are a superb view.

These are cool. The angle you shot these at is neat. Were you up high to get them? - I like lines of the fencing and the spaces of snow and sand. Also loved that first shot with the snow and the grasses.

Seems the fences were doing what they were supposed to do. Rare seeing snow on a beach.

Oh so beautiful, I love those beach fences. Also, seeing snow on the sand is so amazing ! Those whispy clouds gently playing out across the sky look gorgeous :D)

A first for me.....I've never seen snow on the beach.. Neat!
I've never even thought about snow, near the Ocean.

I agree with others, the first one? Now, that makes me want to drive to the ocean, kick off my flip flops and feel the sand between my toes. I love this post, Debbie.

It's amazing how those fences catch the sand and it builds up. I've seen places in PEI where the fence sticking out of the sand is the 3rd fence, on top of two others - vertically! Sure helps protect the sand dunes.
