Saturday Critters ~ 64 ~

Sharing a few images of the birds that call my backyard home.
My view is always amazing!

Mr. Cardinal, seeking shelter from the storm.

Even without a zoom, you just can't miss him.

Mr. Chickadee said I see you there, I don't care, I am just so hungry!

Mr. Carolina Wren could have cared less also,

we had a stare down and trust me, neither one of us was budging.

Pretty Mrs. House Finch, always looking poised and lovely.

And because the Juno's are one of my favorite winter birds,
I am including this terrible picture of Mr. Junco.
Clearly, he did not receive the memo I sent out,
"Pick a branch, any branch,
as long as there are no other branches in front of it".

  15. Gorgeous photos Debbie!:) The snow laiden branches of the fir trees are a beautiful sight just on their own, but with the bright red Cardinal, they are stunning images. I love your pics of the Wren too, I would love to see a Carolina Wren in my trees.

  20. Beautiful birds. they always look so serene against a snowy backdrop. Though when I see the flitting around and puffing their feathers it makes me want to wave a magic wand and make spring begin!
